FRIDAY: August 20, 2021: PLEASE note Hawkesbury’s scheduled “Saddle Up For Spring” race meeting on Saturday, September 4 will not go ahead, as the date has been moved to Newcastle.
Because of COVID restrictions, RacingNSW has transferred the program and instead Hawkesbury will now race on Tuesday, August 31 (this meeting was originally scheduled for Newcastle).
There are a number of distance changes for the August 31 program as follows:
BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP – now 1100m (not 1200m);
CLASS 1/MAIDEN PLATE – now 2000m (not 1850m);
3YO MAIDEN PLATE – now 1000m (not 900m).
Nominations for all races close on Wednesday, August 25 at 11am and acceptances are due by 9 am on Friday, August 27.
