Administrators Update

Members will be aware that the Club has been in Administration since 23 December 2021 following the resignation of the three remaining directors late last year.

Following recent discussions with Racing New South Wales, I can confirm that the Club is to remain under External Administration until further notice.

Accordingly, there will be no elections for the vacant director positions this year.

Members are further advised that pursuant to section 6A of the ASIC Corporations (Externally Administered Bodies) Instrument 2015/251, the Hawkesbury Race Club will not be holding an Annual General Meeting in 2022.

As the administrator, I am available to discuss any questions in writing regarding the basis by which the club deferred the Annual General Meeting and the status of the administration.

The 2021/2022 Hawkesbury Race Club Ltd Annual Report will be circulated to Members and will be available to review on the club’s website once Bradfield Partners has finalised their audit of the Financial Report.

As the Administrator I am responsible for assessing the Company’s ability to continue as a going concern. At this time, I can assure members that the Club remains solvent and has sufficient financial resources to continue to conduct its race meetings and meet its ongoing financial obligations.
