Enjoy a day at the races. Our Clarendon Brasserie Dining Room offers relaxed casual dining for racegoers and  is located behind The Betting Ring to the left of the snack bar. Betting facilities will be available in the room plus surrounding TV screens, so you won’t miss a moment of the action at Hawkesbury and across Australia.

Awards & Presentation with Judges

  1. Head to the Fashion Chute to register your details between 11.30am-1.30pm and collect your registration number.

  2. Assemble next to the Main Stage at 1.35pm for the beginning of heats.

  3. Showcase your ensemble to our judges.

Judges are looking for a standout Spring racewear look from head to toe and something they haven’t seen before,

Your look must compliment you: your body shape and colouring,

Ladies must wear a headpiece, either a hat or fascinator that compliments her outfit,

Attention to detail including headpiece, bag, jewellery, and shoes,

Outfits must be kept within current fashion trends, whilst still being appropriate,  

Gloves and stockings are not essential,

Appropriate grooming and deportment.

Best Dressed Local Lady

Best Millinery

Due consideration must be given to seasonally appropriate millinery, showcasing style, current trends, originality, imagination, creativity, and attention to detail,

Individuals’ overall presentation, deportment, grooming, as well as attention paid to their millinery and accessories to add the finishing touches to their outfit,

Best overall millinery will be selected from the contestants of the Best Dressed Lady competition.
